Coronal MR Images

While our MRI film set does not contain any coronal images, they are a very popular plane of study.  Below, and on the next three pages, you'll see comparisons between fixed brain specimens (similar to the sections you have just competed) and MR images from comparable coronal planes of sections.  On one side of the brain, you'll see that some areas are highlighted and labeled.  Identify these areas.  You'll be amazed at what you can see!  Click on the labeled area in the MR image to see the answer.
