Now
that you have been sensitized to this lab, here are some fast tips:
- Clear
small vessels from the sulci of both hemispheres (fingers work best).
- Horizontal
sections: for this hemisphere leave the brain stem intact.
- Coronal
sections: on this hemisphere, 'cut off' the brainstem at the superior
colliculus (see below).
- When finished,
put the sections in order and bag them for storage in the bucket.
